Pool Controls SG Self Cleaning Salt Water Chlorinator – pH Upgrade Kit
When you upgrade your system with a Pool Controls pH upgrade kit, the pH of the pool water is automatically controlled without the need for a probe. Your controller uses an algorithm to calculate how much acid is required to maintain your pool water in the correct pH range and doses acid via a single peristaltic pump. This helps maintain perfect water chemistry and optimises the effectiveness of the sanitiser.
Over time, the addition of chlorine has the effect of raising the pH of swimming pool water and if it is not brought back into the desirable range, the chlorine will become steadily less effective. If the pH rises too much, the pool water will become alkaline and possibly cloudy. Enhancing your SG Series chlorinator will keep your pool water looking and feeling great!
The pH Control System is simple to install and because it does not rely on a probe, no calibration is required. It can be installed on an existing unit and is “plug-and-play”. Once connected, the system recognises the pH Control System and activates the pH algorithm.
