Bond EasyTreat – Pool Zero Fume Pool Acid 5L

Equiv 20% Hydrochloric Acid 

The following formulae is based on pool water at 26 degree Celsius. 1000 ppm TDS and a free available chlorine content of 3 ppm. Vol of 20% HCI required (ml) = 1.01567*CA + 0.2997*TA + 36.72*pH – 291.542

Where TA = Total Alkalinity (ppm as carbonate), Ca = Cyanuric Acid (ppm), pH = Starting pH.

Answer provides the volume of acid/1000 litres of pool volume, to reduce the starting pH to pH of the original pool water 7.2.
